Information We Collect Our primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide you with a customized view of our web site. This allows us to provide services to try and meet your needs and to customize the services we provide. If you wish to purchase services from our web site then we require some financial information, such as, a credit card number and expiry date. We use your financial information to bill you for your use of our services. We automatically track certain infomation based upon your behavior on our web site, such as, but not limited to, viewing of online classes. We use this information to enhanced the usefullness and quality of our web site, for example, restricting access to online tests if the corresponding online class has not be sufficiently viewed and therefore taking the test will likely result in failure. We may also use this information to perform internal research on the the usefullness of our web site and to improve the services we offer. We may use data collection devices such as "cookies" on certain pages of our site to remember who you are from web page to web page. "Cookies" are small files placed on your hard drive that assist us in providing customized services. Embedded Systems Academy cooperates with law enforcement inquiries, as well as other third parties to enforce laws. We can (and you authorize us to by accepting this policy) disclose any information about you to law enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate, in connection with any activity that is illegal or may expose us or you to legal liability. Other 3rd Parties. For all services that are free (such as online classes and tests) and sponsored by a 3rd party, personally identifiable information and test results may be passed on to the sponsor to determine if you qualify for the drawing of any prizes, gifts, etc. To the extent that these sponsors have access to your information, they will treat it at least as protectively as they treat information they obtain from other users. It is possible that Embedded Systems Academy could merge with or be acquired by another business entity. Should such a combination occur, you should expect that Embedded Systems Academy would share some or all of your information in order to continue to provide the service. Reviewing and Changing Your Personally Identifiable Information Once registered you can review and change the information you submitted during registration at any time. We ask that you promptly update your information if it changes. If you request, we will deactivate your account and any

Therefore we do not recommend that you disclose your My Academy password to any third parties. You are responsible for all actions taken with your password if you choose to share your password or your information with third parties. If you disclose your password, you will provide access to your personally identifiable information to the persons or organizations who know your password. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason or you suspect it may have been compromised, you should immediately change your password. Security Embedded Systems Academy uses industry standard practices to safeguard the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information, including passwords, "firewalls", Secure Socket Layers (for the transmitting and processing of credit card information) and DES encryption of passwords. Embedded Systems Academy protects all data against loss and unauthorized access as is reasonably possible.
