Embedded Systems Academy
provides Training, Consulting and Products for Embedded Designs

Training classes offered cover topics such as Microcontroller Architectures, Time-to-Market Improvement and Embedded Networking

Based in Silicon Valley, the Embedded Systems Academy (ESAcademy) was founded to provide excellent technical hands-on training classes for microcontrollers such as the Philips 16-bit XA or Infineon's C166 family, including the complete tool chains for these devices. In addition, the company covers popular topics like improving time-to-market and embedded networking, for example, Controller Area Network, CANopen, DeviceNet, and embedded Internet applications. ESAcademy offers these classes based on a regular schedule as well as in-house on request.

"The ESAcademy hands-on training classes significantly shorten the learning-curve for new embedded designs," said Geoff Lees, marketing director for Philips Semiconductors' Microcontroller Business Line. "Participants program real-world examples on the latest development tools and gain invaluable knowledge to reduce their own project start-up phase."

In partnership with both Philips Semiconductors and Phytec America, the ESAcademy brings its training classes to 24 major metropolitan areas within the continental US as part of the Embedded Computing Shows organized by the RTC Group.

To further shorten the start-up time for embedded designs, some of the hardware and software used during the training classes is available directly through the ESAcademy. This allows participants to literally take the training environment and examples home for further study.
